Impact Fellows is a HeartDogs programme that gives people of all ages and backgrounds a real social impact experience. Fellows get involved in the work, take on responsibility, and learn what it takes to make a difference.

They came for the cause. They stayed to grow.
Two teenagers are the reason Impact Fellows exists. As HeartDogs took shape, Siddhant and Sanyam joined in to help. They could have spent that time with friends or on video games. They came because the cause moved them, and they asked for nothing in return. They gave their time and energy, and we watched how much they learnt, and how motivated they became, along the way.
Their effort moved the mission forward, and the work gave them something no one had promised. So we started Impact Fellows, for anyone who wants to learn by doing good, so that more people can benefit and the mission can grow alongside them.

Siddhant
Middle school student. With HeartDogs since day one.

Siddhant has been with HeartDogs since the day the Cohort 1 puppies were rescued. He helped with logistics from the start, runs errands, mobilises people, and visits the village during school holidays to train the dogs. He gives his time because the cause matters to him, and he is learning, hands on, what it takes to build something that helps people and animals.
Sanyam
High school student. Builder of the 10,000 Paws campaign.

Sanyam approached HeartDogs for an internship and quickly took on real responsibility. He came up with the idea for the 10,000 Paws fundraising challenge, then worked with the founding team to shape it and eventually took ownership of the frontend and backend code and the systems behind it. Along the way, he has been learning how ideas turn into reality and how a fundraising campaign really runs.
