About HeartDogs

Built on an unlikely belief.
That the most overlooked lives can change the most lives.

HeartDogs - A Better Life is Possible

Millions of people with disabilities in India need support they don't have access to. At the same time, women in rural communities are looking for meaningful work, and millions of street dogs remain without homes.

What if, together, they could make a better life possible?

HeartDogs began with that simple question. Today, HeartDogs trains assistance and therapy dogs for people with disabilities and the institutions that support them. The dogs are rescued Indies, fostered and trained by women in rural India as paid foster-trainers.

The people building HeartDogs every day.

A small, committed team across training, communities, partnerships, and legal - working to prove that the most overlooked lives can change the most lives.

Some people believed before we had proof. Or paperwork.

These are the people who opened their purse, shared their network, or gave their expertise - when HeartDogs was still just an idea. They said yes first. HeartDogs exists because of that.
